Andermatt Swiss Alps AG holds about a 40 percent stake in Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG.

Andermatt Swiss Alps holds about a 40 percent stake in Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG. Vail Resorts, Inc. holds 55 percent of the shares, and about 5 percent are in the hands of private investors. Vail Resorts is the world’s largest ski resort operator. Andermatt Swiss Alps and Vail Resorts are working closely together to develop Andermatt into the Prime Alpine Destination.

Orascom Development Holding AG. Our Strong Partner

Andermatt Swiss Alps has a strong partner in Orascom Development Holding AG, which possesses extensive experience in the development of integrated holiday destinations. The company was formed by Samih Sawiris in 2008. In 2025 he signed over his shares to his son Naguib Sawiris. The ownership structure can be found in each annual report.
