In this key leadership role, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day accounting operations while driving the strategic development and transformation of the Accounting function within our Hospitality division. You will ensure the stability, integrity, and compliance of all financial processes while leading the modernization, standardization, and automation of end-to-end finance operations.
The focus of this role is to combine operational excellence with sustainable finance transformation: optimizing closing processes, implementing modern technologies, and building scalable structures that position the finance function to support future growth.

Your contribution to our success
- Overall responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounting operations across multiple properties
- Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Driving the continuous reduction of financial close cycles through a fast-close approach
- Standardizing and ensuring the quality of financial reporting in accordance with USALI and relevant local accounting standards
- Leading internal and external audits and serving as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and external partners
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including VAT/sales tax filings, payroll taxes, and other hospitality-specific obligations
- Overseeing cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations while safeguarding daily cash flow management
Finance Transformation + Process Modernization
- Redesigning the Night Audit and revenue reporting processes through deeper integration of PMS, POS, and ERP systems
- End-to-end optimization and re-engineering of the Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles
- Implementing and scaling modern automation and AI solutions across high-volume transactional areas such as F&B, Rooms, and Spa operations
- Optimizing AP/AR processes, e-invoicing, credit management, and collections
- Designing and automating internal control frameworks to prevent fraud and ensure data integrity
- Implementing modern reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions to enhance transparency and decision-making
Leadership + Team Development
- Leading, coaching, and developing the accounting team across multiple locations
- Building a high-performing, transformation-oriented finance organization
- Setting clear objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering both technical and digital capabilities
- Collaborating closely with Operations, IT, HR, and other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives
- Acting as a change leader in the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working
What you bring in
- Master's degree preferred or a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent, combined with continuous development in Finance Technology, Data & AI
- Extensive experience in Accounting & Finance, including several years in a leadership role within complex or multi-unit organizations
- Proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives, including R2R, P2P, and O2C process re-engineering, ERP/system implementations, and automation programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS as well as a solid understanding of USALI standards, accounting principles, compliance requirements, and internal control systems
- Deep knowledge of modern finance technologies and automation solutions, including ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Workday), RPA, AI and machine learning applications, AP/AR automation, and modern close and reporting platforms
- Strong experience with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau; familiarity with hospitality systems such as Opera PMS, Oracle Micros, M3, and BirchStreet is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, automation, and finance operating models with a focus on efficiency and scalability
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a business-oriented mindset
- Experience managing stakeholders and leading change initiatives across Finance, Operations, and IT
- A hands-on leader with strong execution capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for coaching and developing teams
- Very good command of English (level C1) and a moderate command of German
- Location: 2–3 days per week in Andermatt or Altdorf; the remaining working time can be performed remotely from home
