Project Manager (w/m/d)

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of strategic projects across our Hospitality division. You will lead the project management for the opening of a new hotel as well as other cross-functional corporate initiatives, ensuring their successful execution from planning through to completion. In this role, you will create transparency, establish robust project governance, and coordinate cross-functional project teams along with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Your contribution to our success

  • Lead and support a hotel opening project within the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Plan, monitor, and track project timelines, milestones, risks, and overall project progress
  • Prepare and coordinate Steering Committee meetings, including documentation of decisions and action items
  • Develop management reports and decision-making materials for senior leadership
  • Support budget monitoring, resource planning, and overall project administration
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, SOPs, PMO methodologies, and governance guidelines
  • Coordinate a variety of projects, including employee accommodation and employee mobility initiatives, from needs assessment through to operational implementation
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, hotel teams, suppliers, landlords, and public authorities
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Continuously improve our hotel opening processes and PMO standards

What you bring in

  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field, or an advanced hospitality qualification combined with a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or Scrum)
  • Proven experience in leading and managing hospitality projects, ideally within the luxury or upscale hospitality sector
  • Experience managing technical projects, including ERP, Procurement, and FP&A initiatives
  • Several years of professional experience in project management or within a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with Corporate Functions, Hotel Operations, owners, external partners, service providers, and public authorities
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (C1 level); additional language skills are an advantage
  • Structured, analytical, and self-driven working style with excellent organizational skills and a hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, combined with high intercultural competence and experience working in international environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as project management tools (e.g., Asana); experience with hotel Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera PMS) is an advantage
  • Location: 3 days per week in Andermatt; the remaining working time can be performed remotely from home
