At the neighbourhood festival on Saturday, 18 July 2026, the team at the property owners’ stall sold homemade salads and cakes for a good cause. All proceeds will go to the Ursern Forest and Climate Association to support the reforestation of the Urschner Forest.

Delicious salads, a variety of cakes and a shared goal: at the 2026 neighbourhood festival, the dedicated property owners combined culinary delights with local community involvement. Numerous visitors supported the initiative and, through their purchases, contributed to the impressive total of CHF 450 raised.

The entire amount will be donated to the Wald und Klima Ursern association. The association is committed to planting new trees and reforestation in the Ursern Valley. In doing so, it makes an important contribution to the preservation of the regional forest and to climate protection.

The participating shop owners would like to extend their warmest thanks to all visitors who supported the initiative. Thanks to this joint effort, the proceeds will directly benefit the region – and new trees will soon be growing from the proceeds of the salad and cake sales.

The Andermatt Reuss neighbourhood festival will take place next year on Saturday 17 July 2027.
