Toan Ly Appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Andermatt Hospitality Management

Toan Ly will assume overall responsibility for the group-wide commercial strategy at Andermatt Hospitality Management with effect from 1 November 2026. His focus will be on sustainable revenue growth, entering new markets and further developing the commercial organisation. In doing so, he will contribute to strengthening Andermatt’s position as a year-round destination.
The appointment marks a return to Andermatt for Ly, who was part of the opening team of The Chedi Andermatt earlier in his career. He subsequently gained extensive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, most recently at Six Senses Crans-Montana, where he successfully led the commercial transformation of the resort. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz and Marriott International. His experience includes building and restructuring commercial teams, strengthening market positioning and developing new revenue opportunities.
“Having known Andermatt since its early development, I see tremendous potential in the unique strength and diversity of the destination,” said Toan Ly. “Bringing together the various areas of hospitality, the experiences and the year-round offering under a clear commercial direction provides an exciting platform for future growth. I look forward to working with the team to unlock this potential and further establish Andermatt as The Prime Alpine Destination.”
Toan Ly graduated from École hôtelière de Lausanne and subsequently completed an MBA at Edinburgh Business School. With more than 15 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, Ly brings extensive expertise in the commercial management and development of hotel operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the commercial strategy across Sales, Marketing, PR, Revenue Management, Distribution and Digital Channels. As Chief Commercial Officer, Ly will report directly to James Lamb, CEO Hospitality.
“Toan combines strong strategic commercial acumen with a proven ability to lead transformation and translate strategy into results,” said James Lamb. “As we continue to develop Andermatt and strengthen our hospitality portfolio, an integrated and high-performing commercial organisation will be critical to our next phase of growth. I am delighted to welcome Toan back to Andermatt and to our leadership team.”
