In this newly created position as a Marketing Cost & Commercial Analyst, you will play a central role in managing and optimizing our marketing budgets. You will create precise forecasts, analyze performance and ensure that all financial activities are in line with internal guidelines and external standards. With your evaluations and recommendations, you support the marketing team in making well-founded decisions, optimizing the use of funds and consistently pursuing the company's goals. In addition, you will be responsible for the correct handling of financial processes, such as the management of supplier invoices, and thus contribute to transparency and efficiency in the entire area.

Your contribution to our success
- Partner with the Marketing team to support budget planning, forecasting, and cost control processes
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing spend performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure accurate processing and booking of supplier invoices (AP - Accounts Payable) in alignment with financial policies
- Conduct commercial analyses (e.g., ROI, CPA, CPL, customer lifetime value) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast)
- Develop and present actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Support ongoing development of financial tools, reporting standards, and KPIs within the Marketing department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, and Sales to ensure alignment on commercial objectives
- Assist in ad-hoc analyses and projects related to marketing investments and business cases
What you bring in
- University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Analysis, or a similar role – ideally with exposure to Marketing Finance
- Solid understanding of cost controlling, financial processes, and commercial performance metrics
- Strong proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1/C2); German language skills are very desirable
- Work location: 3 days per week in Andermatt; Homeoffice possible on the remaining days
