Andermatt Swiss Alps becomes Official Partner of Tudor Pro Cycling

Tudor Pro Cycling has partnered with Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, the company driving the transformation of Andermatt into a 365-day Alpine destination and community. Nestled between eight legendary mountain passes, Andermatt is a mecca for road cycling and the ideal location for Tudor Pro Cycling riders to consider as home. The partnership brings together two brands who share a passion for people, a commitment to excellence and a deep-rooted pride in being truly Swiss and was celebrated at an event in Andermatt in the presence of Olympic Champions and Andermatt Ambassadors Fabian Cancellara and Bernhard Russi.
The Tudor Pro Cycling team will use Andermatt as a training ground and benefit from the high-quality hospitality and service available all year round. Competing in the Tour de France for the first time this year, the team now comprises 47 riders - of which 15 are Swiss - and is racing at the highest level of road and gravel cycling.
Andermatt Swiss Alps has a long-standing connection with road cycling as well as the owner and founder of the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, the double Olympic Champion Fabian Cancellara. The company has sponsored Chasing Cancellara since 2021, an event series which takes cycling enthusiasts on iconic routes through Switzerland, including the 194km from Zurich to Andermatt on 16 August this year. The destination also hosts the Alpenbrevet, the annual sell-out cycling marathon which starts and finishes in Andermatt with multiple routes on offer, including one which requires more than 6,800 metres of climbing.
Commenting on the announcement, Tom Rendell, Chief Marketing Officer at Andermatt Swiss Alps, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Tudor Pro Cycling and are impressed by the Team’s Born To Dare attitude which resonates with our forward-thinking culture to continually delight and surpass our guests’ expectations. Andermatt is already known as the leading Swiss Alpine road cycling destination and this partnership further cements this.”
Fabian Cancellara, Founder & Owner of Tudor Pro Cycling, added: “Andermatt holds a special place in my heart, it’s been a key destination for Chasing Cancellara, and now, through this partnership with Tudor Pro Cycling, everything comes full circle. Bringing together performance, passion and the Swiss Alps, this collaboration unites all the elements I care deeply about.”
Located in the heart of Switzerland and surrounded by breath-taking scenery, Andermatt is the gateway to world-renowned mountain passes, including the Furka, Susten, Nufenen, Grimsel, Klausen, Lukmanier, Oberalp and Gotthard – the latter regularly featuring in the Tour de Suisse and hosting four mountain finishes last year. A number of the passes can be looped, making Andermatt an attractive base for cyclists seeking a challenge in pleasant riding temperatures from May through to October. The resort offers exceptional accommodation at the 5* The Chedi Hotel , 4* Radisson Blu Reussen Hotel and Andermatt Alpine Apartments , with access to bike wash stations, workshops, bike shops and secure storage readily available.
